In 2015 after dreaming and planning, I became a full time RVer. I downsized (that always takes longer than you think it will) and stowed a few things with friends and family. I thought I would become quite the RV blogger but this stuff is hard for me (the website learning) so I didn’t start blogging til May 2018. I was slow at my entries but I wrote some interesting and I think funny posts (still available to read on this site). I wanted to blog for a few reasons. One was to let my friends and family know what I was up to. I also thought it would be helpful for any other new RVers, especially single women. And I figured if I write it I would be able to remember more of my travels and trials since I’m not getting any younger.
So I was doing okay as a blogger considering I’m a procrastinator and didn’t sit down often enough to add a ton of content. Then 2020 hit. Covid put the brakes on a lot of things. I had been in Orlando working at the beautiful Whippoorwill Lake KOA. Covid or not, the owners had sold the campground and I needed to leave in April. I retreated to Blaine TN where friends own some land and had an RV hookup next to their house. I eventually returned to workamping during the summer of 2020 but never added to the blog.
So now (12/2024) I’m finally trying to update this site and get back to writing about my travels. I am also a big crafter so this site will also have info on what crazy things I might be trying to make and/or sell.
Currently my traveling companion is my little dog Amos. He is friend to all we meet up with.
